Hey loves! How are ya? I hope you had a great weekend. I wanted to share with you a look I wore to a Planned Parenthood roundtable in Sacramento. I wanted to wear an outfit that was classic and comfortable. Enter this Modcloth top and Swak Designs skirt.

I bought the Cafe Parfait top last summer when I started getting into the off the shoulder trend. I loved this top from the moment I laid eyes on it. It’s timeless, romantic, and makes me feel very Parisian. After reading the customer reviews, I decided to size down and order the 3x. It fits well around my shoulders without riding up or gaping in the front and back. The top is fitted, so I only plan to wear it tucked into skirts or high waisted pants.

I always felt like I didn't have the right thing to wear with this top until I received the Mandy skirt from Swak Designs. Designed by one of my besties Amanda, the A-line floral skirt is a wardrobe staple. I'm incredibly proud of her for creating something so cute, versatile, and with all shapes and sizes in mind. The fabric is soft, lightweight, and flowy. The elastic waistband provides A LOT of stretch, so size down if you want a close-fitting waist. The hem hits below the knee, which is a little too long for my personal taste. Maybe I can convince Amanda to design a shorter version? :)

To complete the look, I wore black flats and super cute earrings from Charming Charlie. I'm normally a stud earrings girl, but the Austin earrings were too cute not to wear. The baubles' shades of pink perfectly complimented my lipstick and the deep pinks in the skirt. Ladylike outfit in tow, I was able to confidently participate in the roundtable, learn more about the importance of Planned Parenthood, and gain even more respect and love for my best friend that designed something with her heart and soul. Love you, girl!
