Dr. Jart Shake & Shot Rubber Mask Review

I recently had the opportunity to test Dr. Jart's new Shake & Shot Rubber Masks. I posted my mini review on Instagram, but I wanted to share it here, too, because they're that good.

The four masks in the collection are inspired by the masking trend in spas across Seoul, Korea. Each mask addresses a major skin concern: hydration, soothing, brightening, and firming. I tested the soothing mask in hopes of calming redness and a mini breakout.

The DIY mask comes with two solutions, a mixing cup, and a cute little spatula. Create a freshly-made mask by pouring the super booster (filled with active vitamins) and liquid serum ampoule into the cup. Shake until you don't hear liquid splashing inside the cup. Apply the cream to your skin with the spatula and let it rest for 15 - 20 minutes.

It's so crazy how the cream mask transformed into a rubbery texture after 20 minutes. The new texture made it easy to peel. It was also really fun lol I couldn't stop giggling as I peeled it off my face. My skin was instantly sooo smooth, bright, and clear after removing the mask. The redness on my cheeks and around my nose was nearly gone, too.

After removing the residue on my hairline with a damp cloth, I applied Drunk Elephant's Shaba Complex Eye Serum and Olay Regenerist Whip Moisturizer to lock in all the soothing goodness. I'm definitely going to continue using Dr. Jart Shake & Shot Rubber Masks in my skincare routine. They're fun to make and deliver great results. Get 'em at Sephora for $12 each.
