How Sonsi's Newest Brand Inspired Me to Wear a Skirt
When Sonsi asked me to share my style in honor of their newest brand City Chic, I could not say no. City Chic, an Australian plus size brand, holds a special place in my heart because it was one of the first overseas retailers I ever shopped. I have always appreciated the brand’s variety. There truly is something for every style from rock to glam and classic to casual. See my past looks featuring City Chic.
As a girl who carries a lot of her weight in her stomach, it’s a challenge to wear a skirt, or a belt for that matter. The last time I wore one was in this post almost three years ago. Naturally, I was hesitant to try this one, but my love for the baroque print made me do it; this print is too good not to wear. I am so glad I gave it a try because the elasticized waistband and fabric worked so well for my body shape. The skirt fit like it was made for me, enhancing my curves and pairing perfectly with the lace peplum top.
Though City Chic has been around for many years, its new place at Sonsi is refreshing. They are going to be in great company since Sonsi’s online marketplace carries a large assortment of brands (Monif C., IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel, Re/Dress, Kiyonna, just to name a few) for sizes 12 and up.
